Order Brief
Life jacket bulk: prepare a concise order brief
Organize the product, packaging and destination into one revision. Unknown costs remain open until a supplier responds; the storyboard shows planning stages rather than completed procurement.

Buyer assumptions must be identified separately from supplier-confirmed product, price, packing and timing.
Map the complete quotation scope
One comparable order
Same model request, quantity, variants and destination
- Product line
- Pieces by size and color, shell and closure request, quoted configuration and price currency
- Customization
- Artwork preparation, decoration proof, label changes and any supplier restrictions
- Sample and review
- Sample charge, sample delivery, exact-item documents and any separately scoped review cost
- Packing and transport
- Individual packs, pieces per carton, carton dimensions, freight terms and destination exclusions
Do not fill an omitted charge with zero. Mark it “not stated” and request a response. A buyer estimate should identify its source and date and remain distinguishable from a supplier quotation. This method can reveal incomplete scope without asserting current prices or savings.
For a planning example, 12 cartons at 10 pieces per carton equal 120 pieces. Confirm the actual supplier's carton count and variant split before using that arithmetic in an order; the example is not an MOQ, stock or packing claim.
State your optional target budget with a currency and per-piece or whole-order basis. A premium preference might prioritize customization review or documentation support, while a budget preference might request neutral packing and simpler artwork. Ask each supplier to price the agreed scope; the preference does not rank its capabilities.
Close the brief without closing open evidence questions
Which version is being quoted?
Use a brief reference, revision date, artwork reference and model request. Ask the supplier to list exceptions against each field. If the supplier proposes another closure, material or size label, keep that alternative in a separate line until the buyer approves the change.
What does the sample establish?
Record the supplied sample reference and the checks the buyer plans to perform. Visual inspection, fit evaluation and document review answer different questions. No appearance check on this site proves buoyancy, certification, user weight suitability or lifesaving performance.
Request exact-model approval labeling and supporting evidence when the item is represented as approved. Compare identifiers and use limitations with the final offered configuration. A document for a similar jacket is a follow-up question, not a substitute for evidence.
